Who We Are
A Better State was founded out of a passion for seeing people work together to fight addiction. Addiction thrives in isolation, and we’ve seen firsthand how community and support can be a catalyst for change. Lasting recovery is possible, and we’re working to extend that possibility to everyone in our community who has been impacted by addiction.
What Sets A Better State Apart
We approach addiction treatment with a trauma-informed, holistic approach. This means that we take the whole person into account when designing treatment plans, including any past trauma and co-occurring mental health issues. At A Better State, we know that there are a number of factors that can contribute to substance use disorders, including a family history of addiction, chronic pain, and mental health disorders like anxiety and depression.
Consistent support and a community feel are just part of what we offer. Our approach to addiction treatment also includes a high level of clinical expertise so that we can address all of our clients’ needs.
If you’re serious about recovery, A Better State is here to help.
